WordPress speed optimization, and fixes for sites that are stuck

For a WordPress site you already have that is slow, broken or stuck. I measure it first, find what is actually slowing it down or breaking it, and fix that, with the numbers before and after. Remote, for sites anywhere.

What you get

  1. Core Web Vitals and page speed, measured before and after
  2. Heavy images, render-blocking scripts and bad plugins stripped out
  3. Caching set up properly
  4. Custom PHP, JavaScript and MU plugins where plugins fall short
  5. Elementor fixes and custom CSS
  6. GSAP motion that does not slow the page down

A good fit if

  • Your site scores poorly in PageSpeed Insights or fails Core Web Vitals.
  • Pages feel slow on phones, or visitors leave before they load.
  • Something broke after an update, or two plugins are fighting and you cannot tell which.
  • An Elementor layout will not do what it should.

Seamless

I also build and sell Seamless, a WordPress performance plugin: full-page caching, pre-compression and next-gen images, switched on when you activate it and running on your own server.

Questions

Why is my WordPress site slow?

Usually a mix of heavy images, scripts that block the page from rendering, plugins doing overlapping jobs, and no proper caching. Measuring shows which of these matters on your site, so the fix goes where it counts.

What are Core Web Vitals?

Google measures how a page feels to use: how fast the main content appears (LCP), how quickly the page responds (INP) and how stable the layout is (CLS). A page that fails them feels slow, and visitors leave before it has finished loading.

Will you remove my plugins?

Only the ones causing problems or doing a job something lighter can do, and only with your say. Where a plugin falls short, I write a small custom one instead.

Can you fix a broken Elementor layout?

Yes. Elementor fixes and custom CSS are a regular part of this work, including the layouts Elementor supposedly cannot do.

Do I need the Seamless plugin?

Not necessarily. It handles caching, pre-compression and next-gen images automatically on your own server. Whether it is the right fix for your site is something the measuring shows.
